June 04th, Wednesday, 7 - 9 pm Magenta Mosaics. Some time ago Magenta offered a collection of pre-cut mosaic sheets all nicely prepared on sticker paper so that you need only color and/or stamp on them, then peel up the pieces and create a design with them on your card. We’ll take it a step beyond that, of course, with embellishments and a bit of “bling.” Plus, we’ll use plain sticker paper to create a tile or two of our own. Class will complete three cards. June 20th, Friday, 11 - noon Paper Folding: Dahlia Card. Make a card featuring a big, beautiful flower created by a technique reminiscent of tea bag folding, except with circles instead of squares. June 29th, Sunday, 1 - 4 pm 12 x 12 = 8. You asked for it! Once again, we’ll squeeze at least eight cards from a single 12 x 12 sheet of scrapbook paper. Although Father’s Day is behind us, we always need a few cards designed with men in mind. We’ll work with a beautiful collage print by Autumn Leaves composed of seafaring images – sailing vessels, compass, maps and charts – and a butterfly or two! Although the images might be considered masculine, the palette is soft blue, yellow and taupe, just as easily given a more feminine look with a different choice of stamps and sentiments.
